Story
Dear Family and Friends, I have made an important decision to be part of something that matters for Youth Mental Health. Through Ties For Lives - Fold-it Fridays and their other initiatives which will give me an opportunity to create a greater awareness of the single biggest health issue facing young Australians.
Our aim is to spark a national conversation that will assist in breaking down the stigmas and prejudices that surround youth mental and more specifically to reduce the incidences and effects of homelessness, self-harm and suicide through early intervention. Our key evidence based messages will have a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of all young Australians and their families:
- Spotting Early Signs of Youth Mental Health Problems.
- Encourage Self-help Behaviour .
- Seeking Professional Care and Support.
Please join me in sharing our messages throughout our communities and supporting my own efforts with a donation (surprizes me!!) ...any donation will be warmly welcomed.

Ties for Lives Foundation is a not for profit health promotion charity that runs the SPOTa depression and anxiety awareness program. Inconjunction with a series of fun and engaging community events and activities "SPOTaTHONs" we distribute SPOTa Cards - Wallet sized info to Spot the early signs and Assist people to get help.
